How MyIP Info processes IP addresses, connection metadata, browser details and optional advertising data.

MyIP Info generates a connection report on demand. It does not require an account or maintain an application database of your IP lookup history.
Connection data
Your browser necessarily sends an IP address, User-Agent and network connection information when requesting a website. The hosting platform supplies selected fields such as approximate GeoIP, ASN and TLS protocol so the report can be rendered.
Screen size, preferred languages, device timezone, online status and similar browser-only values are populated by local JavaScript. The downloadable JSON report is created in your browser. When an additional IPv6 check is needed, your browser contacts api6.ipify.org directly without cookies or referrer; that service receives the IP address used for the test.
Storage, caching and logs
Personalized HTML and API responses are marked no-store and are not placed in the public application cache. MyIP Info does not create user accounts or a searchable history of reports.
The hosting provider and hosting account may process standard operational and security logs. Their retention is separate from the on-demand report and is governed by the applicable provider configuration and policies.
Advertising and choices
Advertising placeholders do not load Google AdSense until a publisher ID is configured. If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may set or read cookies and process connection data under their own policies. Consent tools and non-personalized options must be configured where required.
You can block third-party cookies or advertising scripts in your browser. The core IP report works without advertising JavaScript. Do not include private account information when sharing a downloaded report publicly.
