Enter an IPv4 or IPv6 address to inspect its approximate geolocation, announcing ASN, network organization, public allocation record and reverse DNS hostname. These are different data sources, and each answers a different question.
GeoIP does not reveal a person's exact address or identity. An AS organization can be a cloud host, VPN or carrier rather than a subscriber's ISP. Registry contact details belong to the network allocation and should not be treated as the device owner's details.
Use GET /api/lookup?ip=8.8.8.8 for the same data as JSON. Responses are marked noindex and no-store. Do not use the endpoint to make unsupported claims about safety, reputation or anonymity.
